I&S srl - Informatics e and Services was born in 1991 and it immediately hold itself up as a modern engineering company, as it gathers many knowledges of some operative partners with professional ad significant experience in Computer Science, Civil Engineer, Geology, Urban Planning and Mapping.
I&S was able to prevail, at first locally and later at national and international level, over crowded market of Information Technology, thanks to group’s ability to express a great interdisciplinary knowledge. Since 1996 I&S is interested in GIS market and it started to develop new high solutions as combination of GIS and CAD soft wares.

At the moment I&S works essentially in the Geographic Information Systems market where is busy developing software, and studying the different way to integrate Hardware/Software.

Total sales of I&S Informatica e Servizi srl Trento derive from one’s own software selling, from services supply and, marginally, from third parties’ hardware and software reselling. Total sales were of 200k-euro in 1991, 900k-euro in 1995, they become stable, about of 850k-euro, in 1997-98-99, and they improved in 2000 (1.160 K euro), in 2001 (1.730 K euro), in 2002 (2.083 K euro), in 2003 (2.180 K euro), 2.333k-euro in 2004 and 2.200 k-euro in 2005.

Autodesk, during the night of presentation of the fiscal year 2006 (Kick Off FY06) which took place on 18th of March 2005 in Cassano d’Adda, decided to reward I&S Informatica e Servizi – Trento as Best Italian Partner for the GIS market for the year 2004.
Special Guest in the evening, Carlo Ancelotti who spoke about management of Milan Football Club interacting with all the people present.
In February 2001, I&S awarded a prize to Autodesk Europe such as "Best Performing GIS Partner" in Italy/Greece/Cyprus for the year 2000
I&S is one of the few Italian company which boast significant experience and a great know-how in both CAD and GIS leader environments: Autodesk and ESRI.
